Overview
Potomac Pediatric Dentistry was expanding their dental practice to include orthodontic services. The office underwent an extensive renovation to accommodate this new service. The result is a bright, modern dental office with a fun nautical twist.
Dr. Hau Le approached us to redesign their existing website, which we had initially done back in 2016. In addition to a design facelift, the new site needed to include information on the orthodontic services.
Phase 1
PROTOTYPING
We started with the existing content but combined certain pages and made other pages, like the doctor bios, easier to find. Our goal was to guide potential patients on the path to scheduling their first appointment.
The black and white prototype showed Dr. Le and the team at Potomac Pediatric Dentistry how the pages of the site would fit together.
Phase 2
Content Creation
We had content for the pediatric dentistry services but needed information on orthodontics.
Our writer created original content for the orthodontic services, focusing on providing useful information to a potential patient. They also kept an eye on SEO best practices to make sure important keywords were used throughout the text.
Phase 3
Design
It was key that the design was cohesive with the interior renovation that was taking place at the office. It also needed to work with the existing logo, which has a strong blue, orange, and yellow palette.
We went with subtle bubble details that evoke the nautical feel of the office. The strong palette matches the logo and lends a playful feel to the design, perfect for a dentistry office focused on serving kids and teens.
Phase 4
The Final Product
The new Potomac Pediatric Dentistry website is fun and whimsical but also a useful tool for potential and existing patients alike. It quickly provides information on the doctors and services and displays a few of the glowing reviews the office receives on a regular basis.

An Ongoing Relationship
Since 2016, we've provided support, maintenance and hosting for Potomac Pediatric Dentistry’s website. We ensured a seamless transition to the new website, with no interruption in service. We look forward to a long relationship with Dr. Le!
