Overview
Nicole Marie Boudoir is an upscale boudoir studio located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in Easton. Nicole aims to empower women to see the beauty within themselves through her beautiful photographs.
Nicole was currently using Squarespace as her website platform but wanted a site with more customization options and one better optimized for search results. She approached us to design a fresh, new website to showcase her photography and guide women on the path to scheduling their first session.
Phase 1
PROTOTYPING
Nicole Marie Boudoir needed a website that was easy to navigate and guided women on the path to scheduling their first session. Our goal was to educate people on what to expect with their boudoir session. Nicole conveyed that a lot of women are worried about what to wear, how they would look, and more when considering a boudoir shoot so we wanted to address those fears from the beginning.
We started with a simple, interactive, black and white prototype to show what pages will be on the site and how they all flow together. This ensures a solid foundation before adding the design elements.
Phase 2
Design
The design needed to compliment Nicole's moody, unique photography style. We went with a simple, paired back palette of black and white with an unassuming sans-serif font. The goal was for the design to let Nicole's work shine.
Phase 3
The Final Product
Nicole Marie Boudoir’s new website is a fresh platform to showcase Nicole's photography and expertise. Her images flow together to tell her story of women empowerment and happiness.
Search engine optimization best practices were used to ensure her website not only looks great but also ranks well and performs as a lead generation tool for her.
Phase 5
An Ongoing Relationship
We provide support, maintenance and hosting for Nicole Marie Boudoir’s website. Nicole does a lot of updates on her own site, so we're there to lend a hand whenever needed. We also provide video training on the key parts of the website.
We actively perform code updates on the site as well as monitor performance and security. If we find any issues, we fix them before Nicole even knows it’s a problem.
