FAQ
What types of businesses do you work with?
I primarily partner with small to mid-size businesses that are ready to grow and need a trusted designer to manage their website, hosting, and brand presence. Many of my clients are in professional services — dental and medical practices, consultants, and local businesses — but I also work with nonprofits and creative entrepreneurs.
What’s your process for a new website project?
Every project starts with a strategy session to understand your goals, audience, and what’s working (or not) on your current site.
From there, I create a site plan and design direction, followed by development and launch. I handle everything from domain setup to hosting, so you don’t have to juggle multiple vendors.
3. How long does a website project take?
A typical small business website takes 4–6 weeks, depending on content readiness and feedback timelines.
For faster timelines, I also offer VIP Day intensives — a full day dedicated to designing and launching your site in one focused sprint.
4. What is a “VIP Day”?
It’s a dedicated one-day experience where we focus entirely on your project — perfect for launching a new site, redesigning key pages, or tackling updates that have been sitting on your to-do list. You’ll walk away with a polished, live result by the end of the day.
5. Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Yes! All of my websites move to flexible maintenance and care plans that cover hosting, backups, updates, and content edits.
6. Can you help with SEO and visibility?
Absolutely. I include foundational on-page SEO setup with every site (titles, meta descriptions, schema, etc.).
For local businesses, I also offer Google Business Profile optimization and LLM/AI visibility enhancements (custom llm.txt and llms.txt files) to help your site show up in AI-driven search results.
7. What platform do you build on?
Most of my projects are built in WordPress, customized for performance, flexibility, and ease of editing.
I also work with Showit, Webflow, or Squarespace when they’re a better fit for your goals and team.
8. How much does a website cost?
Prices vary by scope, but most full website projects start around $3,000 and increase depending on features and complexity.
VIP Day packages are $1,500 and include one full day of design, build, and launch.
Every project starts with a detailed proposal so you know exactly what’s included.
9. What do I need to provide before we start?
You’ll complete a quick intake form to share your goals, brand assets (logo, photos, colors), and any existing site logins.
If you don’t have professional photos or copy, I can recommend trusted photographers and writers who match your brand style.
10. What’s hosting and maintenance like?
I offer reliable hosting on my managed server, with daily backups, SSL, and performance monitoring included.
11. How do payments work?
A 50% deposit reserves your spot, with the remaining 50% due at launch (or at the end of your VIP Day).
Payment plans are available for larger projects. I accept credit card, ACH, or PayPal.
12. What makes your approach different?
I combine design, strategy, and hands-on tech support — meaning you get more than just a pretty website.
I become your long-term web partner, keeping your site running smoothly, visible online, and aligned with your business goals.
13. Who do I call if something goes wrong with the website or I can’t figure something out?
Me! With your website care plan, you have the peace of mind knowing you always have someone to reach out to with questions or issues regarding your website.
14. What happens after the website is launched?
You move onto the website care plan. These website care plans include updating your software, regular backups, security checks and making sure your website is online and open for business 24/7/365.
